Tigertrap alumni Scanners are to have their song 'In My Dreams' played on US teen-soap One Tree Hill tonight, so tune in if you have a TV set!

Not only that, but their excellent single 'Lowlife' has been snapped up for a forthcoming Jeff Bridges/Diane Keaton film called 'Mamma's Boy'. You can grab a copy of the limited edition 7" from our shop section. They are rapidly turning into collector's items.

They'll also be appearing live at The Barfly in Camden on Friday night (18th May) at 11.15pm. Go check 'em out.

Wojtek Godzisz: Burning Ideals in the shops today!
posted 29 Apr 2007

Yes, it has been an excruciatingly long wait, but the debut EP from the former Symposium bearded wonder finally hits the shops today!

'Burning Ideals' features six original tracks plus the video for the title track and comes in a deliciously over-indulgent cardboard cutout sleeve, which opens up in a very unusual and exciting way. We're pretty darn sure there isn't anything in the world quite like it.

It'll be available in all good independent retailers around the UK as well as the majority of big chain stores. Remember, if your record emporium isn't stocking it, feel free to be politely indignant and get them to order one in. Here are the stats:

1. Burning Ideals
2. I Will Give You Nothing
3. Sun Is Up
4. Jealous Heart
5. 22 And Beautiful
6. Light Over Dark Earth
7. Burning Ideals (video)

Also, there's only 1,000 of them in existence, so don't wait too long.

Tiny Masters Of Today: Tiny Masters - NME and Artrocker reviews
posted 26 Apr 2007

Every venue was packed out for the Tiny Masters' tour at the beginning of April and we finally have some reviews in! NME's Mark Beaumont likened the band to "Sesame Street being brought to you by the letters D, E, V and O and with Kim Gordon playing Cookie Monster." You can read the full review in our press section here.

The lovely folks at Artrocker gave the band a full page feature on their Buffalo Bar show in their new issue, which you can check out here.
