There's literally half a dozen of some of the 7"s left in stock, so be warned.

Tiny Masters Of Today: Tiny Masters Of Today - sign with Mute and ready debut album
posted 25 Jun 2007

Tigertrap would like to wish the very best to Brooklyn punk rock youngsters Tiny Masters Of Today, who have signed on the dotted line with Mute Records.

The duo will release their third single 'Radio Riot' (pictured) through the label on 23rd July, followed by their debut full length 'Bang Bang Boom Cake' on 6th August. Featuring luminaries such as Kimya Dawson (The Moldy Peaches), Fred Schneider (The B-52's) and Gibby Haynes (The Butthole Surfers), the album is already the talk of the town.

There's also a full UK tour to look forward to, beginning in London on 9th August. Full schedule to be announced soon (see Tiny Masters' official site for up to the minute updates).

Clone Quartet: Clone Quartet - 'Carousel' Out Now
posted 28 May 2007

Belfast's greatest new musical sensations Clone Quartet drop their debut single today. 'Carousel' / 'Played To Death' is available on two limited edition formats (CD and 7" vinyl), each featuring special card sleeves built by the band themselves.

Both formats are limited to a run of 500 copies apiece and have been selling like the delicious proverbial hotcakes they are. Click on the 'Shop' link on our website for full details. Here's just a small fraction of the praise those lovely press bods have been spouting their way:

"If Arcade Fire actually got around to writing a song with hooks and pop melody... they would have a hard time competing with Clone Quartet." - ARTROCKER

"Reason enough to rhyme foursome with awesome." - BBC ATL

"A stomping beat that almost buzzes under the weight of its angry tension… Bring the (highly-tuneful, electro) noise!" - 8/10 - DROWNED IN SOUND

"A swirling, fantastical whirlpool of electronica that nimbly lifts the spirits and encourages a skip in any would be listener." - MUSIC-NEWS.COM

The band will be back in mainland UK for a full week tour beginning on the 30th June. Full details to be announced soon. Their debut album 'Well-Oiled Machine' is scheduled for release on 6th August through Tigertrap/Smalltown America and really is beyond fantastic.
